RTM offers ocean transportation services for Military and licensed cargo such as armored military and SWAT vehicles, government contracted machinery and projects, tactical gear, and various other types of non-lethal instruments. We also handle non-licensed ocean cargo including off-road and all-wheel drive light or heavy-duty transport vehicles, ambulances, mobile medical units, and vital supplies intended for humanitarian purposes. RTM Lines does not participate in the transport or distribution of live ammunition, explosives or any other type of ordnance.

Client: Licensed Military Cargo Secure Transport

A U.S. defense manufacturer needed to securely ship licensed special purpose military vehicles from the U.S. to a military show in northern Africa. The transport logistics included the special documentation requirements to convey military cargo for an international roundtrip shipment.

RTM LINES Solution
RTM oversaw the military vehicle delivery from the manufacturer to the U.S. departure port, ocean transport to northern Africa, and conveyance to the show venue.

We coordinated all documentation to comply with U.S. customs, license requirements, and ITAR rules. We arranged for security of the vehicles throughout transport, including the overland leg from the African port to the show location and back.
RTM handled the African customs to return the military vehicles back to the U.S. manufacturer.
